While we thoroughly enjoy the process of design, we also intimately know construction and all it entails, including what the words schedule and budget mean and why they are often foremost in our client’s minds.
Foundation AC is a licensed architecture firm, specializing in commercial tenant improvements, adaptive reuse of industrial buildings, and creative office renovations, but is also interested in expanding our spectrum to include private residences and even civil projects.
Foundation AC believes in giving back to our local community, encouraging and teaching future generations of designers and builders through various out-reach and instruction seminars where we interact with and inspire local youth.
Founder and principal architect of Foundation AC, John began his career in the construction industry at the young age of seven, sweeping floors and running errands at his uncle’s commercial construction firm. As the years passed, John’s growing interest in and knowledge of the construction industry compelled him to pursue a degree in architecture at Penn State University. Now having worked as an architect for almost twenty years, and attaining licenses in both New York and California, John settled with his wife on the west coast, where he now enjoys working on the diverse projects found in this great on-going architectural experiment that is Los Angeles
