This two-story CMU building with a single story step up was rehabilitated from standard office to creative office space.

The single story was stripped down to studs with ceiling joists refinished and new windows. The two story office partitions and kitchenette were removed, structural support modified to maximize an open floor plan, and the interior stair redesigned so as to maximize versatility and natural light within. The floor and roof structure as well as CMU was exposed and sandblasted to create a more industrial look. Incorporation of barn style lighting further reinforced the industrial feel, which was contrasted by the use of wood interior doors and glazing with wooden frames to create a warmer feel.
